WCAG 2.1 AA

Accessibility statement.

Family Evidence is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Our commitment

Access to tools that support access to justice.

We believe that access to justice requires access to the tools that support it. Family Evidence is designed to be usable by attorneys, clients, and court personnel regardless of ability.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.

Our accessibility efforts are ongoing. We regularly test our platform with assistive technologies, engage with users who have disabilities, and work to address barriers as they are identified.

Accessibility features

Key features that make Family Evidence accessible.

Keyboard navigation

All functionality is accessible via keyboard. Tab through interactive elements, use arrow keys for navigation, and access all features without a mouse.

Screen reader support

Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and proper heading structure ensure compatibility with screen readers like NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.

Visual accommodations

High contrast mode, resizable text up to 200%, and support for browser zoom. Our color choices meet WCAG contrast requirements.

Audio alternatives

All audio and video content includes captions or transcripts. Critical information is never conveyed through sound alone.
