Payment methods
We accept multiple payment methods for your convenience.
Accepted payment methods
- Credit/debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
- Bank transfer: ACH for US accounts (Enterprise only)
- Wire transfer: International payments (Enterprise only)

- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click "Payment methods"
- Add, edit, or remove cards
- Set a default payment method

Your payment information is:
- Processed by Stripe (PCI Level 1 certified)
- Never stored on our servers
- Protected by 3D Secure when available
Invoices and receipts
Access your billing history and download invoices anytime.
Viewing invoices
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click "Billing history"
- View or download any invoice as PDF
What's on your invoice
- Subscription period
- Plan name and price
- Any add-ons or overages
- Applicable taxes
- Payment method used
Automatic receipts
After each payment, you'll receive an email receipt with:
- Amount charged
- Link to full invoice
- Next billing date

Changing or canceling
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time.
Upgrading your plan
- Go to Settings → Billing → Plans
- Select the higher plan
- Confirm the upgrade
- Changes take effect immediately
- You'll be charged the prorated difference
Downgrading your plan
- Go to Settings → Billing → Plans
- Select the lower plan
- Confirm the downgrade
- Changes take effect at next billing cycle
- Ensure you're within plan limits (cases, storage, users)
Canceling your subscription
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click "Cancel subscription"
- Complete the cancellation survey (optional)
- Confirm cancellation
What happens when you cancel
- Access continues until end of billing period
- 30 days to export all your data
- Data retained per our retention policy (7 years)
- Reactivate anytime within 30 days to restore access
Important: Canceling does not delete your data. Evidence is retained per legal requirements. If you need data deletion, contact support@familyevidence.com.
